Seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator! 

Quad Cities Area, Iowa

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead the operations of a well-established continuum of care campus offering Skilled Nursing, Transitional Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living services.

This leadership position is responsible for the overall operational, financial, regulatory, and cultural success of the community while fostering an exceptional experience for residents, families, and employees. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for servant leadership, operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams committed to delivering outstanding care and service for older adults.

What You'll DoLead Community Operations
  • Provide overall leadership for the daily operations of the community.

  • Foster a culture centered on quality, accountability, collaboration, and resident satisfaction.

  • Develop positive relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, referral partners, and community organizations.

  • Coach and mentor department leaders while supporting professional growth and succession planning.

  • Ensure the community operates efficiently while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Drive Financial Performance
  • Manage the operating budget while achieving financial and operational goals.

  • Oversee occupancy, admissions, census development, and revenue performance.

  • Monitor labor management, staffing efficiencies, and expense controls.

  • Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to improve overall business performance.

Ensure Clinical & Regulatory Excellence
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Promote survey readiness and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Partner closely with clinical leadership to support outstanding resident outcomes.

  • Ensure quality assurance programs remain effective and focused on continuous improvement.

Develop People & Culture
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team.

  • Foster employee engagement through coaching, communication, and accountability.

  • Support performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and resident-centered care.

Support Growth & Community Engagement
  • Partner with admissions and marketing teams to support occupancy growth.

  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations.

  • Represent the community professionally throughout the local market.

  • Support strategic initiatives that strengthen market presence and community reputation.

QualificationsEducation & Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Gerontology, or a related field preferred.

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license (or ability to obtain licensure in Iowa) required.

Experience
  • Minimum two years of Executive Director or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator experience within senior living or long-term care.

  • Experience leading skilled nursing operations required.

  • Experience overseeing multiple levels of care, including assisted living, rehabilitation, or independent living, is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in financial management, occupancy growth, regulatory compliance, and operational leadership.
