The Gardens by Morningstar is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Administrator to lead operations at our 106-bed Assisted Living Adult Home. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of assisted living and adult home regulations to make a lasting impact on resident care and organizational success.
Position Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of resident care, staff development, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
Minimum of 2 years of related supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations
Must meet NYS DOH Regulation 487.9(c)(9)(v)(c) requirements
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations and maintain full regulatory compliance
Oversee and maintain policies and procedures
Lead and support staff development and training initiatives
Ensure resident care services are delivered at the highest level of quality and compassion
Manage and monitor financial and clinical outcomes
Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) programs
Oversee facility improvements and operational enhancements
Collaborate effectively with department managers, ownership, and frontline staff
