Assisted Living Facility Administrator

The Gardens by Morningstar is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Administrator to lead operations at our 106-bed Assisted Living Adult Home. Position Summary

The Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of resident care, staff development, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of related supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations

• Must meet NYS DOH Regulation 487.9(c)(9)(v)(c) requirements

• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations and maintain full regulatory compliance

• Oversee and maintain policies and procedures

• Lead and support staff development and training initiatives

• Ensure resident care services are delivered at the highest level of quality and compassion

• Manage and monitor financial and clinical outcomes

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) programs

• Oversee facility improvements and operational enhancements

• Collaborate effectively with department managers, ownership, and frontline staff
