Activities Aide (FULL TIME)

Motivated, responsible, enthusiastic, and kind. These are the qualities Newfane Rehab and Healthcare Center is in search of. 

We are seeking an individual who hones all of these qualities and will make a great Activities Aide. Organization and communication are key skills we seek in our ideal candidate.

We are in search of an Activities Aide. 

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in running recreational programs that meet the interests of the residents
• Engage new residents to determine their interests
• Assist in running monthly festivities and parties at the facility

Requirements:

• Must be organized and have the ability to lead others
• Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• General understanding of the needs of seniors
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
