Nurse Practitioner Psych PMHNP or Psychiatrist

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to provide psychiatric services for individuals with developmental disabilities receiving OPWDD services. This is an excellent long-term opportunity with a 5-year contract and a consistent part-time schedule.

Primary Sites:

• Rochester, NY (Monroe County)

• Newark, NY (Wayne County)

Occasional Coverage:

• Geneseo, NY (Livingston County)

• Ontario County clinic site

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time Contract

• Contract Length: 5 Years

• Estimated Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week (approximately 520 hours annually)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or as mutually agreed

Requirements

• Psychiatrist

  • Active New York State medical license

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency

  • Board Certified in Psychiatry

  • Enrolled as a Medicaid and Medicare provider

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

  OR

  Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

  • Active New York State RN and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licenses

  • Psychiatric certification

  • Collaborative agreement, if required under New York law

  • Enrolled as a Medicaid and Medicare provider

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
