Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Clients with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift

• Help Clients with personal hygiene

• Document Resident food and fluid intake

• Assist Clients with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

• Making the Client's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy

• Adhere to professional standards and follow all policies and procedures

• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards

• Maintain the confidentiality of all Clients data

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and Valid CNA certification

• Excellent interpersonal skills 

• Effective communication skills 

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills 

• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities 

• Keen attention to detail 

• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations 

• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions 

• Physical strength and stamina 

• First aid and CPR certifications
