Eleanor Nursing Care Center is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in beautiful Dutchess County, New York. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help deliver exceptional care to our residents.

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high standards of resident care, and support the nursing team in providing outstanding clinical services.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing with management and daily nursing operations
Help maintain quality care standards and regulatory compliance
Foster effective communication across all levels of nursing staff
Ensure residents' nursing and medical needs are met
Coordinate and direct nursing service planning and delivery
Maintain current knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and standards
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding nursing staff
Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing personnel
Maintain flexibility to address resident and facility needs as they arise
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting required
Previous nursing management or supervisory experience preferred
Passion for geriatric nursing and resident-centered care
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate staff
