Position: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Schedule: Daily, Morning and Evening Shifts (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM)

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide dedicated in-home care for a 90-year-old woman in Matawan. The ideal candidate will be strong and comfortable assisting with the following:

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, and mobility exercises for leg health.
• Wound Care: While the patient can manage her wound care, you may assist with general monitoring and support.
• Companion Care: Ensure safety and provide companionship during the day and night.
• Mobility Assistance: Aid with getting in and out of an automatic wheelchair and overall physical support.
• Pet Care: Comfortable around a 70-pound German Shepherd mix dog, who is friendly and well-behaved.
• Additional Duties: Light housekeeping and assistance with meal preparation as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey.
• Physical strength to assist with transfers and mobility.
• Experience working with elderly clients, particularly those with mobility issues.
• Comfortable and confident around large dogs.
• Reliable and punctual with a compassionate attitude.

Compensation:

• $19 an hour
