Job Summary:

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our Assisted Living community in Roxboro, NC. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by our healthcare team, and ensuring the overall well-being and health of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our healthcare team

• Monitor and record residents' vital signs and medical conditions

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members

• Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

• Maintain accurate and complete records of medications and treatments

• Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or training in Medication Administration is preferred

• Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
