Duties and Responsibilities: Dietary Aide

• Delivers food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.
• Prepares and delivers snacks.
• Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that customer and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
• Provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed in accordance with established federal, state and local dietary regulations.  Assist in preparation, service and delivery of meals and snacks, asssit in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment under the direction of Dietary manager.

Qualifications and Skills: Dietary Aide

• Must have the ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified, and serve food in an appetizing manner.
• A professional and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication skilll
• Shows initiative in daily work and is self-motivated
