Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate in NY

• Graduated from a CNA training program

• Previous long-term care experience is a plus

• A passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Every other weekend is required

Safire Rehabilitation of Northtowns, a long-term skilled nursing facility located in Erie County, New York has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s to become part of our dedicated and professional staff. We are looking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has a purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comfort needs. Key Duties Include:

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, physical conditions, and emotional well-being.

• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.

• Assist with meal service, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

• Communicate with nursing staff about any changes in residents' conditions.

• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.

• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team.
