Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Tray Aide to join our dietary team in a skilled nursing facility in Blountstown, Florida. The Tray Aide plays an essential role in supporting resident nutrition and overall care by accurately preparing, assembling, and delivering meal trays in accordance with physician orders, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble meal trays according to prescribed diets and portion guidelines
Review meal tickets to ensure accuracy and compliance with special dietary needs
Deliver meal trays to residents in a timely and courteous manner
Assist residents with tray setup as needed
Collect and return trays to the kitchen after meals
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, tray line, and dining areas
Follow all food safety, infection control, and facility policies
Communicate effectively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and supervisors regarding resident needs or concerns
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred, especially in long-term care or SNF settings
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
