Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department

• Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel

• Develop and conduct regular in-service training classes to ensure a well-educated nursing department

• Monitor and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner

• Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences and quarterly quality management meetings

• Manage the care planning process

Requirements

• Current RN license required

• Experience in Long-Term Care settings

• 2 years of management experience preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Evidence of basic leadership and supervision skills

• Ability to work flexible hours
