Activity Aid

5 Star, Sub Acute/Long Term Care facility seeking part time Activity Assistant. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, and passionate about enhancing the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs for short-term and long-term residents
• Lead small and large group activities including music, exercise, games, arts & crafts, discussion groups, and special events
• Provide one-to-one engagement for residents who are unable to attend group programming
• Support memory care programming with dementia-sensitive approaches
• Document participation and resident responses according to regulatory standards
• Assist with holiday celebrations, themed events, and community outings
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications:
• Experience in long-term care, senior living, or recreation preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work some evenings, holidays, and occasional weekends
