Laundry Asst Night Shift

Laundry Aide(Health Care) -

The primary purpose of this position is to implement required Laundry procedures in an efficient, cost effective manner meeting all federal, state, and local requirements while providing a safe environment for our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Processes Laundry including loading, washing, folding and delivering house linen and resident personal belongings

• Ensures workplace is kept clean and tidy

• Dusts and cleans all equipment

• Collects dirty laundry from the floors and transports back to laundry area

• Fills out maintenance request slips and turns them into supervisor

• Performs emergency housekeeping when needed

Education and Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.

• Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
