Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Staffing Coordinator to join our team! This is an important role that supports both our nursing staff and daily facility operations by helping coordinate schedules, maintain appropriate staffing coverage, and ensure strong communication across the nursing department.

Coordinate and maintain nursing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage
Manage daily staffing changes, including call-offs, shift coverage, and schedule adjustments
Communicate open shifts and scheduling updates with nursing staff
Work closely with nursing leadership to identify and address staffing needs
Maintain accurate staffing records, attendance information, and scheduling reports
Assist with coordinating orientation schedules for new nursing employees
Support daily operations of the nursing units and assist with communication between staff and leadership
Maintain accurate employee and staffing information while protecting confidentiality
Assist with administrative and clerical responsibilities related to nursing operations
Help promote a positive, organized, and team-oriented work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Previous staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare office experience preferred
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or another healthcare environment is strongly preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing staffing needs
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
High school diploma or equivalent required
