Certified Medication Technician (CMT) - Full Time Evening Shift

Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team on a full-time basis, working evening shifts. As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

About the Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Role:

• Assist with the administration of medications to residents as prescribed by their physicians

• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse

• Provide general nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Observe and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff

• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans

• Maintain accurate records and reports

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their physicians

• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
