Responsibilities
Event Work: 
  • Maintain and update attendee lists, assist in nametag creation, and conduct post-event data entry and coding. 
  • Pack/unpack event supplies and equipment.
  • Support the coordination of event logistics such as catering orders, room layouts, and supply needs in collaboration with professional staff.
  • Provide onsite support during event setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Clerical functions (copying, collating, word processing, filing, answering phones, etc.)
  • Distribute mail to events team members.
  • Maintain storage areas to keep equipment in its proper location and inventory levels are met. 
  • Make on-campus deliveries of event materials and documents as needed.
  • Assist with managing the inventory of event supplies, including tracking stock levels, organizing storage areas, and identifying reordering needs.
  • Ensure all supplies and equipment are returned, stored properly, and maintained in event-ready condition.
  • Occasional night and weekend opportunities.

Required Education, Experience and Benefits Summary

  • Purdue University Student
  • Prefer Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) students
