About the Role:
As a Food Service Assistant at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care and satisfaction of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and service of meals and snacks in our dining area

• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to infection control standards

• Assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and food presentation

• Ensuring patient satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and responding to special requests

• Collaborating with the dietary team to identify and implement process improvements

• Both Full-time and Part-time Schedules Available

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with food presentation and plating
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
