As the HIM Coordinator / Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator, you will:
Maintain resident medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Audit medical records for completeness and obtain required physician signatures.
Manage admissions, discharges, and medical record documentation.
Create and maintain nursing staff schedules.
Coordinate schedule changes, call-offs, and shift coverage.
Assist with staffing coordination to help ensure appropriate nursing coverage.
Order, receive, organize, and distribute medical and nursing supplies.
Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, and supply usage.
Work closely with nursing leadership and other departments to support daily operations.
Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
Experience in medical records, health information management, staffing/scheduling, central supply, or healthcare administration.
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or other electronic medical record systems.
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical records practices.
