We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Supervisor to join our team at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our dietary services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction.

Dietary Supervisor Job Summary:

As a Dietary Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent customer service and food quality. You will also be responsible for supervising meal preparation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Dietary Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dietary operations, ensuring efficient meal preparation and timely delivery to patients
• Supervise a team of dietary staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and food quality
• Maintain accurate records, including inventory management, food safety, and patient meal tracking
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including Joint Commission, OSHA, and state health codes
• Conduct quality control checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication and quality service

Dietary Supervisor Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Dietary Supervisor or related role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
