Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Director of Nursing in leading and managing daily nursing operations in a long-term care setting, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with all regulations and standards. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing department operations  

• Serve as Staff Educator, ensuring all in-service and documentation requirements are met  

• Lead staff development, orientation, and training programs  

• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives  

• Support Compliance Committee activities and regulatory readiness  

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care  

• Act as Director of Nursing in their absence

Qualifications: 

• Active RN license in the State of New Jersey  

• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)  

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care or hospital setting  

• BSN preferred  

• IV certification preferred
