Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Man)

Pay: $18 per hour
Shift: Full-Time | Days, Evenings, Weekends
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This position requires a hands-on individual with experience in general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance according to scheduled timelines.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Inspect hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Repair drywall, paint walls, replace flooring, and perform carpentry work as needed.
- Maintain and repair lighting, doors, locks, windows, and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with seasonal projects, renovations, and property improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous hotel, apartment, commercial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in hospitality or commercial facilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
