Optical Frame Stylist

     Schenectady Eyecare & Eyewear is looking for a frame stylist to join our independent optometry office.  We offer eye exams for glasses, contact lenses and treat eye disease. Our ideal candidate is friendly, ambitious and able to multitask.  Excellent communication skills are needed on the phone and in person.
     Full time position with four days/32 hours per week

     Responsibilities include helping patients select ideal frames and lenses considering glasses are a medical device and a fashion statement, ordering eyewear, checking patients in and out, answering phones, teaching patients how to insert and remove contact lenses and scheduling appointments
     Experience in optical, retail or fashion is helpful but not required.  Any motivated candidate can acquire the needed training skills.
     Starting pay is $16- $18.50 per hour with room for advancement.
