Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor clients' progress.
- Administer medication and assist with health-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and care provided.
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients and their families.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare is a plus.
- Experience in direct care or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client welfare.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background check clearance as per state regulations.
