Cashier

Job Overview
We are a new produce market in Bridgeville, DE looking for Cashiers and Stock persons to make our business a success! In this role, you will:

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with sales
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking shelves as needed

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing
• Providing excellent customer service is highly valued
