Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash effectively.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing sales and returns.
- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and inventory levels to assist customers effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with product demos is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
