Part -Time Driver

HIGHLAND EXPRESS SHUTTLE (New Bern , NC )

The information below is for a van driver position with Highland Express Shuttle Service.

Location: New Bern, NC (DRIVER MUST LIVE WITH 10-mile radius New Bern, NC)
Position: Van Driver, Part Time 2-3 DAYS WEEKLY
Veterans Prep: Yes
Vehicle: 15 passenger Ford Transit van.
Work Week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Three days per week for part-time driver
Route: Transport Military applicants (people who are trying to join the military) Also backs a route that picks up applicants and, occasionally help out if there is an overload.
Benefits: 401K, Workers Compensation, Dental, Vision care, Vacation, & Bonuses at end of year. Benefits after 90 days, 401K after 1 year and 1000 hours.
Training: Will receive two days training at $ 15 an hour with third day optional.
Salary: $15 an hour Sunday thru to Friday, as needed.
Raises: Eligible for a Raise after 90 days and annual thereafter
Pay Period: From 1st to 15th is deposit at end of month; 16th to 30th or 31st deposit 15th of next month, direct deposit only and taxes will be taken out.
Requirements: High School diploma/GED, clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), Police Record Check, pre-employment drug screening, must pass DOT physical (company paid), CDL IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. Must run Elog and complete some paperwork on the route.

Must have internet at home, own a smart phone and have basic skills like texting a picture, taking a picture with phone and checking email daily. Company does not provide internet in home. No applicants accepted that do not know how to use email.

Description: Van driver will transport Military Applicants to and from Military Entrance Processing Center for medical appointments and airport and occasionally. Armed Forces Recruiting Station located on route above to the Military Entrance Processing Station. Company provides vehicle along with maintenance, fuel, mobile phone.

Company uses E-Verify for all employees.
