About the Role:
Join Better Healthcare Services LLC as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support and assistance, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities in daily activities.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and families.
- Encourage social interaction and community involvement through planned activities.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of each client at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
