Direct Support Professional Lead

Victorious Family Care Center is seeking to hire immediately highly qualified energetic lead people to fill openings. These applicants must have a passion to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities. The qualified applicant must have the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driving License
• Must be able to pass both state and federal background checks
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Minimum of 3 Years Supervisor Experience
• Medication Administration with State of TN Certification

Duties:

• Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Taking vitals, height, and weight
• Feeding clients
• Maintaining patient’s health equipment
• Responding to emergency situations
• Administering medication
• Transporting client to appointments
• Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly

Pay: $14.75 - $15.25 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving/direct patient care: 3 year (Preferred)
• DSP: 3 year (Preferred)
• relevant: 3 year (Preferred)
• management 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Driving (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred) Must be able to work over if needed
