Direct Support Professional DSP and Transportation (Van Driver)

Job Description:

The Support Living Services (SLS) Instructor and or Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing 1:1 to 1:6 direct instruction to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. The role of the SLS Instructor is to promote the health, safety and well-being of the consumer which will lead to a better quality of life. The SLS Instructor will assist individuals with making proper choices in their lives while supporting and encouraging those choices. The SLS Instructor will use their abilities to find creative ways to instruct the individuals they serve. The SLS Instructor supports individuals with accomplishing daily living activities in their home and/or in the local community. The position provides necessary instruction and Transportation to assist them with maintaining their independence and safety in the community.
