Direct Support Professional

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, respect, and community inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support in daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.

• Support individuals in community engagement, recreational activities, and outings.

• Assist with medication administration and follow care plans as directed.

• Promote independence by teaching and reinforcing life skills.

• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals in your care.

• Document daily activities, progress notes, and any incidents in a timely manner.

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and service coordinators.

• Maintain a respectful, positive, and professional environment at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Must be 18 years of age

• Previous experience in caregiving,related field preferred, but not required—training is provided.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, patient, and committed to supporting individuals with varying needs.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (may be required depending on assignment).

• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and required certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid).
