In-Home Aide (Part-Time)
Location: Ellijay, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30 hours/week)

American Hearts & Home is a CHAP-accredited home care agency committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We are seeking a dependable and caring In-Home Companion Care Aide to join our growing team in Ellijay.
Position Overview
This position provides non-medical support to clients through companionship, light household assistance, and encouragement with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, and tidying)
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Run errands or grocery shop when needed
- Encourage participation in hobbies and daily activities
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the Client Coordinator
- Help maintain a clean and safe home environment
Qualifications
- Caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Paid training provided
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Approximately 30 hours per week
