Amazing U Community Services is looking for caring and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This is a rewarding opportunity to empower others while building a fulfilling career.
Position Type
- Part-Time
- Per Diem
- Flexible Schedule
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Support individuals with cooking and meal planning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany individuals to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their service plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must successfully complete background checks and required trainings.
