CT Technologist | Mammoth Lakes, CA | 13 Weeks Contract

We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging procedures in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Job Details- Position: CT Technologist
- Location: Mammoth Lakes
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $3350 to $3550
- Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper imaging techniques
- Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Evaluate image quality before submitting studies for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation in the electronic medical record
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Perform routine quality assurance checks and report equipment maintenance concerns
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License
- Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
- ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT examinations in an acute care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
