Overview

Provide basic nursing care and support, including taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, ambulation, and transfers
Document patient location, status, and activities accurately
Escort patients within and outside the hospital as needed
Assist in keeping patient common areas clean and safe
Identify safety hazards and emergency situations, and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Communicate changes in patient conditions effectively to the healthcare team
Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Demonstrate procedural competencies for assigned tasks
Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and staff needs
Required Skills
Ability to perform basic nursing procedures and patient support tasks
Strong communication skills to effectively document and relay patient information
Awareness of safety protocols and emergency procedures
Attention to detail and adherence to infection control policies
Additional Skills & Requirements
Valid CNA license is required and must be requested at the time of candidate submission
Ability to work four 12-hour shifts per week, either day (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) or night shift (6:45 pm – 7:15 am); includes weekend and holiday coverage
Previous healthcare experience and procedural competency preferred
Completion of a five-week new employee orientation session, held Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no absences allowed during training
Background check and verification of certifications and credentials
Flexibility to work up to 12-month assignments in a clinical setting in the region
