Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Summary

We’re seeking a Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support resident care within Nursing Services. Working under supervision and established practices, you will complete varied assignments focused on providing compassionate, hands-on personal care and helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist residents with personal cleanliness and hygiene (Activities of Daily Living/ADLs)

Feed and assist residents with meals, snacks, and nutritional supplements as needed

Observe, report, and document changes in residents’ condition and/or behavior

Participate in restorative therapies according to the care plan and individual needs

Participate in Resident Care Conferences

Support residents individually and in groups by encouraging communication, self-esteem, and socialization

Plan and conduct selective individual and group activities

Work Environment

This role supports a resident-care setting and requires professionalism, patience, and strong teamwork while floating to meet unit needs.
