Job Summary
We are hiring a Composite Technician for a contract opportunity in Poway, CA supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing. This hands-on role focuses on fabricating, assembling, bonding, repairing, and inspecting advanced composite structures used in high-performance aircraft and unmanned systems.
This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented technician with at least 1 year of composite or aerospace assembly experience who enjoys precision work, blueprint interpretation, and building mission-critical components. You will work with materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, honeycomb, adhesives, and bonding agents in a structured, safety-focused production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, bond, and repair composite structures using carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, adhesives, sealants, and related materials.
- Align, fit, drill, trim, fasten, route, sand, and finish composite parts and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare bonding surfaces through sanding, cleaning, treating, and material preparation processes.
- Set up and use assembly fixtures, jigs, templates, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to support accurate builds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and basic functional inspections while maintaining accurate production and quality records.
- Location: Poway, CA.
- Shift options: 1st shift, 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, or 2nd shift, 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
