Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a single district with a primary focus on elementary students and some middle and high school populations. This contract position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a work schedule that could potentially be four days per week, plus additional time for testing.
Responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, and providing speech-language therapy services to approximately 50 students. The role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support communication development and improve speech and language skills. Supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is also part of the position, helping to optimize service delivery within the caseload.
Preferred qualifications and experience include:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings
- Familiarity with telespeech services is beneficial
- Ability to effectively supervise SLPAs
- Comfort working primarily with elementary students, with some middle and high school experience considered a plus
- Openness to virtual work candidates is considered, expanding flexibility in service delivery
