Site Safety Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead and support safety initiatives on construction projects by fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing site-specific safety plans, conducting audits and investigations, monitoring jobsite conditions, and collaborating with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain a safe, compliant, and incident-free work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with extensive knowledge of construction safety standards and a passion for protecting people and promoting operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Safety Plan and Safety Roadmap.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
* Lead incident and injury investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
* Prepare and submit weekly safety reports, including Total Case Incident Reports.
* Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
* Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and address deficiencies.
* Facilitate and participate in weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
* Support safety training initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
* Collaborate with project leadership and field personnel to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards.
* Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* OSHA 500 Construction certification required.
* CPR/First Aid certification required (trainer certification preferred).
* Experience in construction safety and jobsite environments.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards, including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* BCSP certification (CHST, ASP, CSP, or equivalent).
* Experience supporting large commercial or industrial construction projects.
* Experience delivering safety training and mentoring field personnel.
