Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established food manufacturing organization in Fremont, Indiana. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, supporting equipment reliability, and leading a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, maintenance leadership experience, and a background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team while promoting a strong safety culture
\n
• Assign, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance activities
\n
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
\n
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
\n
• Support facility maintenance, equipment reliability, and process improvements
\n
• Participate in safety meetings, emergency response protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Manage maintenance schedules, resources, and department expenditures
\n
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and plant safety enhancements
\n
• Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to support facility goals
\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 2–5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a union environment
\n
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing
\n
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance principles
\n
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
\n
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
\n
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
\n

11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Weekends Included)
