St. Joseph Hospital is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative and high-performing team in Milford, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, autonomy, and delivering high-quality care to the community.

Whether you are Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine trained, this role offers the perfect balance of clinical challenge, schedule flexibility, and strong team support.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, efficient care in a busy urgent care setting
\n
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute conditions and injuries
\n
• Perform procedures including:\n
  \n
  • Suturing
  \n
  • Splinting
  \n
  • Abscess drainage
  \n
  • Foreign body removal (including ocular cases)
  \n
\n
• Utilize a slit lamp for eye evaluations
\n
• Independently interpret X-rays and EKGs
\n
• Collaborate closely with experienced nurses and Physician Assistants
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Minimum 3 years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience required
\n
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine preferred
\n
• Strong procedural skills and clinical confidence
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
\n
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach
\n

• Point-of-care laboratory testing

• CT and Ultrasound available on select days/times
\n

• 12 shifts per month
\n
• 12-hour shifts providing schedule flexibility and work-life balance
