Operating Room Nurse (RN) - Surgical Services
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\n10-hour days with rotating call responsibilities. Weekend and holiday coverage will be managed through call rotation.
Job Description\nThe Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the surgical setting. You will work closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective communication throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning. \n
- Scrub in on various surgical cases including OB GYN, Neuro, Vascular, Endovascular, Ortho, Plastics, and ENT. \n
- Coordinate with a charge nurse and provide support to other nursing staff as needed. \n
- Comply with all safety and infection control protocols. \n
- \n
- Current RN license. \n
- BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred. \n
- Strong background in surgical nursing is preferred, with experience in scrubbing. \n
The candidate must be comfortable floating between various surgical areas as needed, particularly in Endo, Vascular, and General surgery.
