Job Details

• Location: Mammoth Lakes
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $3350 to $3550

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper imaging techniques
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
• Evaluate image quality before submitting studies for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform routine quality assurance checks and report equipment maintenance concerns
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT examinations in an acute care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
