Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Placid, FL. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain independence and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical and mental abilities to create personalized therapy plans

• Develop and implement creative and effective therapy strategies to improve mobility, strength, and cognitive function

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Conduct daily therapy sessions, documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for continued recovery and wellness

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida

• 0+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical disabilities

• Strong observation and assessment skills with attention to detail
