About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Award Care at Beneva, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential by promoting independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will enable you to design and implement personalized therapy programs, conduct assessments, and provide individualized interventions to address residents' unique needs and goals. Pay starts at $44/hr for FT and increases based on experience level.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement personalized occupational therapy programs for residents, taking into account their unique needs, abilities, and goals

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify residents' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement

  • Develop and provide individualized interventions to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to resident care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress

  • Participate in resident care plan development and implementation

  • Maintain a safe and efficient therapy environment, adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

  • Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently and effectively
