Job Description
REGISTERED DIETITIAN
Calvert County Nursing Center is looking for a Full-Time registered dietitian to join our team. The dietitian plans, develops and directs the nutritional care of our residents.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or similar field.
o A Registered Dietitian in MD
o LTC/SNF Experience preferred
Job Summary
Assesses nutritional needs of residents from diet history, laboratory reports, physician diagnosis, and from information obtained by performing meal rounds and interviewing residents/families/staff.
Monitors and participates in resident care plan meetings. Documents appropriate dietary interventions.
Assist with development of menus and writing of standardized recipes with therapeutic modifications.
