Occupational Therapist, OT – Per Diem / PRN

Citrus Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist / OT to join our dedicated rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a subacute care environment, helping them to enhance their functional abilities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ occupational performance and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique goals and challenges of each patient.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to improve patients’ daily living skills, work-related skills, and leisure activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or subacute care setting preferred.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
