Salary: $200,000-$315,000

About the Opportunity

An established Am Law 100 law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its growing Warranty & Lemon Law practice in San Diego.

This role is ideal for an attorney with significant civil litigation experience who enjoys managing cases independently and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a collaborative national firm. Attorneys with backgrounds in insurance defense, product liability, or other high-volume litigation practices are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Manage a large docket of consumer warranty litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Develop case strategy and independently draft and argue dispositive motions
• Handle all phases of written discovery and depositions
• Appear in state and federal court for hearings and other proceedings
• Lead settlement negotiations and mediations
• Collaborate with clients and internal leadership to achieve favorable outcomes
• Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining exceptional legal work product

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-JD civil litigation experience
• Experience independently managing litigation matters from start to finish
• Strong motion practice and discovery experience
• First-chair deposition experience
• Experience in insurance defense, product liability, warranty, lemon law, or other civil litigation
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Comfortable managing a high-volume litigation practice
• Interest in building a long-term career within one firm
