About the Role:

As a Speech Therapist (ST) you will play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct speech and language evaluations, and provide ongoing therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified deficits
• Provide speech and language therapy sessions to residents, including group therapy and individual sessions
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians
• Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding resident care
