Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law to develop persuasive legal arguments.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and precedents to ensure the accuracy and relevance of legal arguments.
• Draft, file, and argue motions, including legal briefs and memoranda, in state and federal courts.
• Prepare and respond to pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
• Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
• Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
• Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Successful completion of the bar exam
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
